Community Development Initiatives

Syro-Malabar Mission, Madurai, is committed to actively participating in various social and community development programs. These initiatives typically focus on education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, and empowering marginalized communities. The Syro-Malabar Mission in Madurai is aligning itself with the teachings of Jesus Christ of fostering service to the community, its overall development, and social welfare.

In continuation of its social development initiatives, there are several initiatives undertaken, which are as under:

St. Alphonsa's Tailoring Center: It promotes the empowerment and economic development of village women.

Chantals' Kids Center: To help underprivileged children explore their fullest potential and become valuable members of society.

Chantals' Academy (Tuition Center): It aims to provide education, inculcate discipline, and impart moral values and quality traits to underprivileged children to lead a dignified life.

Chantals' Manna: This aims to provide support to the society in terms of Medical Camps, Family Counseling, literacy, and awareness programs to the local population in the nearby villages. Some of the glimpses of its activities are as below:
